Best low/flat light type lens. I love the hi-blue, but I just can't put up with Oakley's crappy quality anymore. What lens(es) should I be looking for?

Specifically for the Phenoms, BTW.

Sensor Mirror.

Sensor Mirror...Vastly superior to the O's.

sensor mirror (blue) is the shit. Apparently there is a gold tint low-light too, I cannot comment on that one.

I got the sensor mirror last year, its great for our "dark/cloudy" days we get here in the PNW.

nth the sensor mirror. that with the turbo-fan fucking rocks.

edit: the outlet still has them for a fucking great price, but only 4 left. http://www.backcountryoutlet.com/outlet/SMI0263/Smith-Phenom-Turbo-Fan-Series-Goggles.html?id=JtNWiniI

Have you tried to search yet? Not saying that I have, but this thread comes up every year, and everybody chimes in that the Smith Sensor lens ownerizes Oakley, which is does. Not sure why Oakley is even worth buying anymore.

BTW, any lens with the turbo-fan is pretty much money.

Oakley's High-Intensity blue is comparable to Smith's Sensor lens for performance, but the quality of materials on the Oakley is shit (as you've stated). A little beer on the Oakleys and the coating just peeled right off. Lame.

Thanks guys. I actually just came across this Smith goggle simulator site. Pretty cool stuff.

Except for my lenses, which happen to fog in between. Which, in case your wondering, is not helped by any fan known to man.

The new gold sensor miror should do the job too.

Warranty them or PM me.

Also, the new Ignitor lens is the gooooooods. Maybe better than the Sensor depending on your preference.

IMO, the Ignitor handles the shady stuff just as well but does better than sensor when the sun comes out. Just my opinion, though, so try 'em both if you can.

Smith has been pretty good about replacing last year's Phenom lenses with the new ones that have the gore-tex plug in them, if that's the lenses you're talking about.

Yes, the Sensor lens isn't the greatest when its really bright out. Not as mind-numbingly painful as a yellow lens, but close.

I've got a pair of the gold mirror Prodigy's for sale in gear swap. Supposed to be 70% VLT. They are NIB off SAC. I haven't used them, but I am switching to sensor mirror after using Hi-Blue Oakleys last year. Hope it is a step up like everyone says.
