edit: you should see it. I swear I sat there the entire movie with my eyes squinted in a "wtf is going on?" look, but I loved every mintue of it. It was way original and Jim Carrey was nothing shy of awesome. He does really well in these more serious movies. Kate Winslet did a great job too. Definitely a movie to go see or rent.

I thought it was one of the better flicks I've seen in awhile, but it also seemed to borrow from other movies quite a bit (Vanilla Sky).

Just saw this flick. The less you know about it, the better (I knew a little, but still too much). Really, really enjoyed it. Haven't seen too many movies lately as I tend to always be disappointed, but this one left me feeling satisfied that I'd spent the time well.

Highly recommended.

This movie is so, so entertaining. I hadn't seen the previews for it (I rarely, if ever, go to movies in the theater), so I went in completely blind to the subject matter. It's unlike any movie I've ever seen (not surprising considering above statement). People may term it a "chick flick" but I think if you're human, you're going to like it. I also had that "wtf is going on" look on my face during the first, oh, half of the movie, but the fact that it was a bit confusing in the beginning made the end that much more interesting. It pulls at your heartstrings (that's the chick part), but it's also very comedic.

Finally saw this one, what a good flick. One of the better I have seen in a while. Confusing at times, but that made it all the more interesting. Bizzare to think that these sorts of things are actually possible, maybe they are already happening? Wait........did I used to be married? :D

So...I just finished watching this movie. I'm re-evaluating the hand-full of meaningfull relationships I've had with women in my life past and present. If I wasn't an emotionally cold person, I could have cried at this movie. Rent it with your wife/girlfriend, especially if you've been fighting lately.

I wonder who saw this as an optimistic movie and who saw it as pessimistic.

Sure, it ends with cuddles and kisses and walks down the beach, but, don't forget, that's the beginning. The true end is the swearing and cheating and smashed up cars. Humans are foolish. Even when we know - or have a good idea - of the results, the heart can lead us down torturous paths. That fleeting first moment when we think we are in love is so damn seductive.

But it's a long road. Things that start with a bang, often end that way.

Sure, I suppose another chance is granted to our protaganists. Who here thinks it will work?

I thought it was optimistic. I found myself kinda wishing I had memories like that to be erased. The scene at the end where they said they'd do it all again just solidified it.

A little pessimistic. They argued too much to be truly in love. Or maybe they they went down the wrong path together the 1st time, which maybe can be realized and fixed the 2nd time. I dunno, I almost fell asleep the whole second half so my mind was blurry.

Just noticed that this won an oscar for best original screenplay. Well deserved I would say.

Finally saw this movie a week ago. I really enjoyed it. There were some very funny parts like when the Technician and the Secretary were fooling around on top of Jim Carrey or when he puts Kate Winslet in his masterbating memory to protect her from deletion.

I really liked this movie.There are many hilarious parts to it.It is typical of the really fucked nature of it's author,Charlie Kauffman.He wrote Being John Malkovich,& Adaptation as well.I don't think it's a chick flick.

I find it strange that any film with emotional content that doesn't involve violent retribution & anger is instantly coined a CF.

Bought the dvd the other day and had another viewing. It's as good, if not better, than I remembered it. So solid.
