Backcountry.com has these things. I wish i would have known about this earlier; because i have already bought 2 pairs of skis and cant afford another.

58 meter turn radius, little sidecut and very stiff. What the hell else could you want in a ski?

Maybe for them to be on top of a 3000 ft AK line?

I'm sure they're excellent skis, but they are way too specific for me.

They are kinda short. I wish bc.com good luck selling that shit. Selling Blizzards that cost more than 300 bucks is a solid workout that really requires your A-game.

I picked up a pair and they look killer.

I think the 58m is because of the lack of side cut but in general thay are not too stiff.

I'm running the integrated Dukes on mine. Oh yeah and I did not pay the 1200+ as advertised by bc.com.

Azzure: You will have to keep me posted on how they ski!

i skied them last year and was really unimpressed with them, one of my least favorite skis I demoed(and I loved xxls, b squads, other fat stiff and long skis) I dunno if the kreitlers had a bad tune or what but they skied like shit.

Someone was selling a pair on here without the binding system for 200E, there were only about 3 of us interested. I was surprised.

It wasn't the Kreitler, rather a skinnier flat proto of it (between Kreitler and Big Akira). And I wasn't selling it, just passing the offer onwards.

BTW. the 1200 pricetag isn't that bad, when you know you get ~400 or so Dukes in the package... That said, the rail-deal sucks, Big Akira would make a really nice teleski, but with the hostage-rails it'll be more tweakin' to make it work.

Yeah I knew it wasn't you selling it. I was in the race to buy it and when I was emailing the guy (your friend?) he told me it was 191 with a turned up tail, stiff, "about 115 waist", 60m radius and so on. I just assumed, whatever it was it was a killer deal and a sweet hookup for something that sounded really similar to the kreitler. I came pretty close to buying it except for the length.

Yeah, it was the proto for Kreitler, but they did tweak it a bit for the production run (made it slightly wider, like 119mm and added the rails).

Still have the Titan Pro's I bought from the same bloke... Weren't a bad deal for ~100 €.

I fully get you on the hostage plate thing. In the past I would never buy a ski like this but in the end I had no problems with it because they are available with a killer binding (duke). I've also been told you can order boards from Blizzard without bindings and do the switch (pro form). I'll let you know how they ski when I get them on the snow but they look bomber.
