So I just bought a pair of Freeride+'s to mount on my Public Enemies. Just wondering if anyone had some mounting advice for them. I did a search and found most people were mounting regular bindings on them at +2 for all mountain use and 0 for pow. Just wondering what the best touring specific point would be (and why). Thanks in advance.

I would mount them at the 0 because if you ever make a kick turn the tip will stay in the air, so it does not hit the ground. That and if you are hiking I would hope it is for powder anyways. Cheers

are they 179s? I'd say 0 or +1. depends on what kind of terrain you are touring for and your height, weight, etc.

5'6" about 175ish, mostly going to be my lighter weight touring ski for longer tours and for lines with harder snow (like couloirs and stuff) I'm sure it will see plenty of pow too though, so they need to float. Oh yeah, skis are 174.

if you want it to float, PE's float like a 95+ waist ski mounted at 0
if you want tight maneuvering on hard snow, you may want to move forward

Same question for 189 AK's, where should I mount those bad boys, with touring, deep pow, and big lines in mind? +3 seems to be what the majority of the mags recommend, but how does that work for touring?
