Location: Rhode Island and South Dartmouth, MA

Date: Labor Day 2007

Travelled from NYC to RI over labor day. My sister and her husband were also in town from Denver. Went to Barney's Joy in S. Dartmouth fishing both inlet and ocean.

Overview of the inlet side:

On the ocean side my brother in-law caught 2 sea robins and a 20 inch flounder in the inlet.

Sea robin #1:

For anyone who has never seen or caught one of these things, they are a duck lipped, winged, croaking weird fish. Apparently the tail is good eating..I'll take their word for it.

The flounder was a total surprise on the inlet side:

It was decided it would make a good appetizer:

Day 3 was another gorgeous sunny day and I caught a few mini stripers.
