This is a call out to all Boise peeps. Mtnjam, Conundrum, Assgasorgrass, Sad Santos and anybody else I missed. This race looks super fun. 16.5 mile race from the top of Bogus to the Co-Op. I think there is only one major climb. You get to ride to the top of Deer Point, and there there is a Leman's start. You follow the ridge road over to 8th Street, and finish at the Co-Op. The race is September 16th

They will also have a downhill race from the upper lodge to the lower lodge

I will be riding the course on Thursday leaving from Greenwoods at 9:00AM. Shoot me a PM if you want to shuttle.

Edit: I will be leaving at 10:30AM. IMT is having there sale so I will be leaving later.

Rode the course today and it was super fast. About 4000 foot decent. Speeds will be over 40 mph several times during the race. There is one major climb. It's only 650 vertical feet. I am sure there is going to be plenty of big bikes. Stats from today. Green is elevation. Blue is speed.

The race went really well. I had a great time racing. I think I am still coughing up dust. I hit 40 mph on the downhill. The leMans start was crazy! There was one really nasty crash near the start. I finished the course in 50 minutes which I thought was pretty fast considering last year the fastest time was 42 minutes but this year the fastest was 40 minutes and some change. I was at the turn off for Dry Creek in 4 minutes from the top of Bogus. It was nice getting to the top of 8th street and knowing that I had nearly 10 miles of downhill.

I am using the Garmin Forerunner 305, with the Garmin Training Center software.
