Marysville teachers have been striking for something like 40 days now. I guess it doesn't really matter when they go back to work, since they have to make it all up sometime this summer. Isn't high school grrrrrreat?

Whoa. I'm gonna stay out of the BB DINMS war going on here but...

Isn't it illegal for teachers to go on strike just for that reason? If I was a student I would refuse to go to school for the 40 days because of that. Pfft recking my summer vaction because they want .25 more an hour and better pencil sharpeners.

EDIT:it wasn't illegal for the teachers to go on strike here. i think back in billings they did for a month. high schoolers had to make it up with saturday school and stuff i think
