Once per week, a friend and I are cruising up Wasatch Peaks to try to stay used to the dawn patrols for a future project and because he works early.

Here are some from last week.

It is amazing.

Are these stills from your HD camera? The aspect ratio says "yes."

Oh yeah. Nice TH. Saw you crazies across the way. Decided to head over to Sunset Pass and check things out over there. I was justly rewarded, although I sure could've used a bit more oompf from that sunrise...

More of a late morning patrol.

A fun and steep ski descent in the winter, but a choss pile in the summer. Steep, loose, and fun in a stupid kind of way.

Entering via Maybird.

Drove up to Albion and Sugarloaf this morning. The girl at the gate gave me an evil look and said "Watch out for lightning!" Looking at me like I was some kind of retard. Guess that's the impression I give off.

Still some flowers up high.

It was raining pretty good, constantly soaking the camera and lens.

Cheesy pop up, on camera flash. Should have turned it down a bit, or used a removable, if I had one. Oh well.

Wind, rain, moving flowers, small aperatures, and slow shutter speeds=blurry.
