Looks like fun to me. Used those polaris poppers in Hawaii with limited success.
Did you tie your leader to your mainline w/out a swivel in that 2nd pic? What knot/lb. test are you using?

They'll be available to the general public soon. :D

15lb Yozuri to 60lb Seagar with an albright.
I only fish conventional so no need for a swivel.

That's a pretty dangerous thing to not be wearing a lifejacket in such choppy seas. Follow the prime example of the man in the bow. He knows.
In fact, you really should be wearing a survival suit.
