Skied Shasta (avy gulch) on Mothers day and it was sweet. The top 1000'was icy and a waste of time (and energy) that is if you are looking for corn. The east facing summit shot is probably stellar. The bowl below Red Bluffs was unreal, silky smooth corn and fast. I was able to ski within a 100 yards of the car in Bunny flats. What more can you ask for?
