Wait, is that last night overnight? How the hell is that true is Stowe/MRG/Sugarbush/Jay all reported 4?
From Smuggs.com:
New Snow: 12 inches of new snow overnight in the past 48 hours!
Now that i look kind of a dumb sentence....Overnight in the past 48 hrs...wtf?

 Snow drift? Or maybe the person doing Smugg's measuring has blurry vision
edit - Maybe it was measured during the 48 hours of darkness :p

I was just talking to my roommate about this. We think the snow reporter piled up a bunch of snow and then took a measurement.

That's how they do it here at Tremblant. I have 5 meter/yard sticks placed around the mtn where the wind isn't too bad. Intrawest has us with over 130" of snow so far for this year. I have us just over 90"

Unfortunately I was not there yeaterday due to prior committments. I got about 5 inches at my house I would not dioubt that Smuggs go 10-12. I'm sure I'll hear about it from some of the locals.

Glad to hear someone got some snow. Not so glad that I'm sitting here doing nothing... Should snow a lot this week since I won't be able to ski next weekend.
Storm is coming this way....Weather channel map looks like if anything Jay and Smuggs just might get some snow.....otherwise rain.....let us pray....
I think Stowe reported 11", and it was over my boot tops yesterday.
