No.

Other than the fact that I have to reregister everytime I open the browser, I love this place now.

Fuk 'em if they can't take a joke.

No, you're doing a great job, and have been more than responsive.

Not at all...this place rules.

HOWEVER, I can see where he's coming from, if a loyal devotee to this site saw a massive influx of us wierdos, it might certainly upset him/her. You can't expect the dynamic not to shift severely.

Nope. I like it here just fine.

Owens one question though - why did you drop the member numbers? I don't really care, but I did have to work to secure #666.

The member numbers didn't transfer with the import.

Owen. You rule.

Here is why: You listen to the users and speak to them and are very active in making sure your board is running smoothly. You don't abuse your power like most moderators on most boards. You seem very concerned about the future as well as the present.

This place is not the other place and you haven't made it the other place either.

I would also point out that this place is far healthier... it is now running 2X the posts with 1/5 the userbase as far as I can see.

You can't please every last person, but you are doing a good job at pleasing almost everyone.

Keep up the good work Owen!

What's like PM?

I like it fine, although I am a usurper. I've never been a fan of Avatars, but you can turn 'em off.

Feels nice in here.

Edit: Oh, and Satan's here!

Well the reg date of the user was just last month. Just barely before people showed. How much did he know the old board if he was here for a month or less?

Unless it is a second account for him... in which case I think his bitch was unfocused and unspecific... the type of bitch made by someone afraid of change. He is entitled to his opinions, but the world doesn't revolve around him. I think if he gives us new people a chance I think he'll see we aren't too bad... although we are weirdos (or at least I am).

ONS,
I, for one, like the changes. Tech Talk, Gear Swap, etc are, in my humble opinion, good things to have in a site like yours - similar features also exist at other skiing sites, not just pmag.com. Since I assume that the goal is to increase traffic to the site and since 95% of what attracted me to the other place were these features, it seems that adding them here isn't "trying to make this pmag.com" but making this site more functional, and thus more likely to be at the top of the bookmarks for a lot of people. Thanks for listening and I hope my babbling was somewhat coherent.

It's like moving to a new neighborhood. At first you may piss off a few of the neighbors but once they get to know you they will build a fence.

I think it place has a lot of positive aspects to it as a result of the pmag influx.
