Location: Canal off of Maceday Lake

Weapon of Choice: 7'6" 3wt.

Fly: The super classy yellow popper size 14.

Weather: Little to no wind, 60 degrees. Water was clam.

Species: Large Mouth Bass, Gills: a few different kinds, Black Crappie and a Golden Shiner.

Total Fish hooked: 27
Total Fish in the bucket: 23

The joys of midwest small water fishing. I used to carry an ultralight spinning rod in my car, if I had any sort of time to kill just driving around there was always a pond or river or some sort of water to get on for some easy action.
