AK, Valdez area Conditions

I have a last second chance to get on a trip next week (4/7). Pretty big hit w/ work & family to pick up and go at such short notice.

What are the condition like right now?

I heard from someone who just return about big winds before their trip and a bunch of down days.

this last week has been incredible blue skies and stable soft snow at least here and I imagine Valdez. Here is the weather link. Looks like moisture next week. By the 7th ? feeling lucky?
