Summit - Day Two

Skied hot ice and cold slush under a blazing sun at Squaw with about 30 maggots today. Just rolled in to shower, off to the kickoff bash in SLT. Things are destined to get out of hand.

I am priming for the party as we speak with multiple cups of coffee. Soon I will switch to Tequila and then many beers at the rager.

I am priming for the party as well, sitting here in the rented house in SLT, with 8 of my best friends; none are maggots, yet all will be exposed to the PM gang in a few hours at Hoss Hoggs.

Think it's time to start explaining yet? :)

We skied Heavenly on Wed, Squaw yesterday, Heavenly again today, and are looking forward to some fun at Kirkwood tomorrow...then Monday it's back home to SLC and the remnants of the foot of fresh I'm hearing we missed today... :(

Insane day at Squaw today. Followed the sun around catching the melt. Skied some nice corn and everything from hardpack to mush. I need to get up there on a pow day. Sick lines and hucks with steep landings. Anyway, people were going off today despite the lack of pow. Crews merged and split up and then melted in with others as the day went on. Our little crew stuck to the Headwall for a few laps, and then skied all over the place in search of corn. Runs were bombed, gapers were scared, and two of us even had a nice collision to Charlie Brown yardsale right under the chair. The crowds were crazy as was expected and gaper pinball was in full effect. Still, most people stayed off the steeps. A killer day. Now it's time... PARTAY!!!

DPPS. Please note that was hardrider, not me. ;) I would never have been able to post anything that coherent this morning. :D

We managed to hit kirkwood today at 3 pm. had time for 3 runs. Too bad, there was a good sized crew ripping around and much better conditions than squaw the day previous.
