Anyone have any info on the current "real" non marketing dept reported conditions. Also drop a PM with any terrain tips. I'm skiing Jay and thinking of hitting Burke on the way there and Pico ot K on the way back.

edit: I've never been to either, so anything would help. "Regular" trails etc.

killington skied pretty well on friday. i ducked into the woods for my first time of the season there to check out how the snow was and coverage was pretty good. should be nice after the 5" or so they got on friday night. "regular" trails were not that icy on friday.

I was at K-mart Saturday. Ramshead was fun with great snow, but only good for cruising b/c it is so flat. A lot of the trails in the center part of the mountain were VERY icy. The trials that were open back in January when nothing else was are like glaciers. Just solid ice. Outer Limits had almost no bumps and all ice. I though it was fun to ski the steep terrain that way, but I am in the minority I am sure. We got at least 4 inches by the time the lifts closed on Saturday though.

Ski Burke, Jay, & Stowe or Sugarbush or Mad River don't waste your time at Pico. Heard Mad River was nuts this past weekend.

Pico is great with some decent cover if you know where to go!
