Edited old post since the powder board is all sorts of whacked:
Edit#2: Twoplanker is having a Halloween party up here on the 25th. Having a DJ and custume prizes, keep an eye out for email soon.
Ok, an maggots looking to have yet another reason to party, come to my house!!
Saturday October 11, 2003:
Barbeque kicks off around 3PM. Show up anytime after 1pm.
All maggots and their wives/sigificant others are invited. Drinking and the like kicks off before that most likely.
I live a bit north of Logan, UT. For you SLC persons, it will take 2 hours. I got to the Bird in 2 hours from my house last weekend.
What to bring: If you drink, you stay!!! We have a very large house and have plenty of futons, beds, couches, and floor space. Bring a sleeping bag and pillow, and clothes to sleep in unless you like to be naked, which is always fine too. Bring liquor and wine if so inclined. We have a ton of glasses.
There is NO need to bring beer. Buy it is Idaho up here.
I am 4.1 miles away from La Tienda in Idaho for REAL beer. They have a great selection of micros to macros. They do sell wine, but I dont consider Boones Farm wine. They do have wine coolers and the Smirnoff Ice type drinks as well.
Everyone is welcome to stay and I encourage it. You really don't want to drive home late in Cache Valley if you have had ANYTHING to drink. I have been followed for nearly 20 miles a few times by a cop and he was just waiting for me to do something wrong. I had had one beer and that is one too many as far as the cops are concerned here.
Also, do keep in mind I have 2 Great Danes which I will coral as much as possible and keep outside. They are very friendly, but my boy gets weirded out with little kids in his face (all little kids are in his face, that is the height he is). He has never done anything but scare the shiz out of them, but I did want to warn you all.
We have a 3 grills so bring something to cook too (I think we have stores here too ). I will find out more of what the Mrs. and I will make. She makes great pasta salad so Ill see if she can hook us up.
Recap:
Bring liquor, wine, food, sleeping bag/blanket, pillow and if anyone else has air mattresses bring those too, I have one.
If you like frisbee, we have a great frisbee golf course 2P and I came up with. We have a patio with sand in it for the kids to get dirty in (I mean play). There is tons of fishing spots nearby, although I really don't fish well. I make sure the cooler is doing well, screw the fish.
I will edit in more info as I talk with my wife. Stay tuned.
Buzzworthyski on the yahoo side of the commie or resimpson97 on the aolsucks dawt commmmmmmmmmmm for directions (very easy).
