ill be there.. webcam shows a LOT of snow already... then heading to kitzbuhl for nye.. anyone else going to be around?

enjoy man, Kripp is a classic:) i love that place...i am coming home for x-mas from Vancouver and if there is good snow, i might drive down from Prague for one day...problem is i am leaving all my skis and stuff in Van...ill figure it out somehow...

ill be there.. webcam shows a LOT of snow already...Eh what? Europe is facking bone dry all over and warm as hell at the moment. +3° at the top of Krippenstein with 30 cms of snow. Sounds great... :rolleyes: I bet the webcam shows some old picture in true Euro fashion. Or if you show a flat glacier without crevasses it might look sick.

i was wondering about that...just spoke with my gf and she said there is 15C in Prague:) unless the Kripp stats show 300+cm of snow dont go there, not worth it! i am serious...there has to be shit loads of snow...

snow reports show 30cm...gotta wait for one more zero:) but it wont take long...

There's little hope of skiable conditions in most of the Alps before xmas! It could be the worst start of the season EVER! There's absoluteley NO snow in parts of the Alps. Just saw some images on TV from an Austrian ski resort (they didn't say which one) and it was all green with sheeps strolling around on the slopes where there should be skiers making turns.

yeap, you right...just spoke with my gf who booked a challet for 20 friends for the following weekend in the Czech Giant mountains...there is not even a 1cm of snow:eek: and the forecast doesnt look really promising:mad: she is pretty pissed...i guess it was a good decision to move to Vancouver for this winter:D
