So I finally came into the modern ages and have a new computer. Now I need some decent video editing software. Basic things I am looking to do:

Add still pics
Add music
Be able to slow down clips
Edit clips (obviously)
Zoom in and pan on still pics

Suggestions?

Oh and this is for a pc, not a mac

Done with movie maker I think

I hate Adobe Premiere but it would probably suit your needs.

Try Windows Movie Maker, assuming you're on Windows XP, top notch bit of software that's always overlooked

ULead is another company that has some solutions, as well as many of the new CD Burning software like Roxio and Nero have added some of these capabilities for working with DVD creation.

I gotta ask the same question, what should I get? I was looking at my vids that I have done in Movie Maker and they are missing some shit I want to be able to do:

- Slow down
- Speed up
- Pan around etc on a still photo

In general, just not real happy with and I think I can do better with a better tool. I seem to loose some quality b/t the camera and the video too.

Come on give me the goods.

I ain't afraid of pirated stuff either, so if any of you are willing hook a brotha up :fmicon:, holler at me girl

premier elements 3 can do all of those, but haven't tried to the panning on a still photo. everything else it can do though.
