Could you post the URL for the pay-per-view live web broadcast of the mouting? I somehow misplaced it.

Initial tests indicate increased length & stiffness (note: heh), with decreased sidecut, all as compared to Seth Pistols.
Aggressive crud busting is on the rise, recent reports... report.
Sexy hip swiveling in tight trees is expected to take a sharp decline, analysts say. Some feel this may be in response to a continued self-preservation instinct contrasted with the Legend's lower flick-ability as compared to past performance of the Pistols.
Rad Brad at Sports Den gushed about how fantastically well-built these skis look/feel when I picked them up. I'd have to agree.
FYI: This thread is unlikely to avoid the "so obvious, why did he even bother?" pitfall. I just kind of click into the bindings and just, do it. Honestly, I just got the damn things cuz they say "Pro Rider" in bold on the tails. ;)

Seriously though; More info when I've gotten more than 3 end-of-day laps in whiteout chopped pow/bump/trees.
Note that Xover doesn't stand a fucking chance once I get these bad boys dialed. I'm going to get a helmet cam and mount it pointing backwards to video him trying to keep up. And I quote: "BWAHAHAHAHA!!!1"

Lil do you know Phunky, that "Mr. Rad Brad", as you call him, has been mixing, brewing and saving up a super special wax just for such an occasion. He called last night (after you picked up the Pumpkins) and said I should prolly get the Bid Dads in for sum of his x-tra special, hand tuning tlc cause sum lil, wanna-be rockstar was in braggin' that he could keep up with me on the Hi T now.
We both said, and I quote, Bwaaaaaaaaaahaaaaaaaaahaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!! :D

maybe you can keep up... I'm already pushing my luck going from 179 Seth Pistols to 186 Legend Pro's. Don't think I need to bump up to the 194's just yet. That would be a bit  I think.

where did ya mount em ?
when ever i feel sad or blue i just look at em and all i see is big fat trippy orange color and the big letters P R O and then i think i m somewhat of a pro rider (wich i am so not.) and these bright colors just light up my day.
then i ride them.
these should be all camo or black metal or like steel...this is a wood core, this is not a glue core or a epoxy-foam, this is wood. woa, think heavy wood....i had a small core shot in the middle and i could see what is under the base. no metal, its sorta fiber-glass thingy and right away you see wood. the only metal layer is at the top (you can see it from the side) and gives it the nicest stiff-medium flex you can imagine (super-nobis like but on the 186 lenght is soo nice).
to start with this ski you have to look at its tip. on chop..its feels like a bulldozer shovel on a v12-pickup running 160 mph on the highway... shit gets out of your way or it get blows up...
i was suprised by how versatile this baby is. low speed high speed, it works. simple.
then, i think its weekness its its waist. 97mm for the biggest ski in your line doesn`t make any sense. fat is where its at. i think i would just widden this ski by 5mm at 103 mm it would rip.
then the tail is like predictable and lively.
that it all.

Would the ski be at all manuverable in eastern trees for a lightweight like myself (5'8'' 150 lbs)? Or would it be too much to even try to handle. I must get away from the center mounted noodly shit(PR) that I'm on. Ive but 40-45 days on them and the camber is almost totally gone, what bullshit. But, back to the original question. Sorry for the hijack.

Update: I've brought them to Alta again yesterday. I didn't use them though.
I did wax em up again, however. My $9.99 iron slides right between the wide Look brakes and the fat waist on this ski, making it a breeze to wax.

Glademaster-
At 5'8 180, I rode them once last year in eastern trees. ( I got them in April, 2 inches of spackle on top of crust) It was the most fun I have had, but also the most work. You can tell at the end of the day that the ski is rugged, and will work you like a rented mule. Dewey is a right coaster too, and he is a bit smaller than me, but rocks them whenever he can. (He got his sooner than I got mine and he skis faster, the bastard) Overall, the ski is suprisingly easy to ski for it's size/construction/price, but it does require you to bring your "A" game.

Glade you might want to take a look at the Legend 8000 dimentions are 116-79-102 I shop flexed a 172 which was the longest size Ski Market had in em :nonono2: and it feels like it would be a really nice all around ski on the EC. I was thinking about giving it a spin as a candidate to replace my G4's. Unlike most of the wider midfats appear to be availible in most of the ski stores on the EC, giving you at least a shot at haggling down the $699 price tag.

Laser, I'm lookin at the Head Monster IM85's for next season, prolly in a 179. Enough shape to ski hard snow and stiff and damp enough for goin mach loony through crud. Seems like it would be a damn nice EC fat ski to me.
