:D ...My bad. I like both tunes, but was listening to "lounge" this morning. I'm not very good when it comes to titles. Cowboy dan is a little funky midway through. Not too crazy on the first 30 seconds of the song though.
Yeah, Modest Mouse is my favorite band. I'm seeing them the 26th at the Showbox in Seattle. Should be a sweet show.

Artie, zero 7 kicks serious A. Been a fan for a while, and they have a new album due out soon.
I'm listening to:
Science Fiction Jazz Vol 5 (some euro jazz/club/chill stuff)
Josh Ritter-Hello Starling (saw sinners, and had to buy both of Josh's cds.)

I'm listening to the hum of my computer. I wouldn't buy it just for it's sound, but it is very zen-inducing. And every once in awhile the faint sound of a toliet flushing interjects.
Oooommmmm.......

How do the two compare? I bought Golden Age of Radio (after seeing Sinners) and am thinking of having the local shop order Hello Starling for me...

no problem Char, btw I forgot to mention " Pele" another instrumental rock outfit, and now that I think about it every bit as good or better than Mercury Program. Check out Pele's album " teaching the history of teaching geography "

Thanks for the heads up, I picked up the new album Tuesday, I was not sure after the first listen, I was sold after the second listen and it has been in heavy rotation since. Also recently bought "Talkie Walkie" by AIR, different, but very good.

gin, I kinda like Hello Starling better. Its a close call though, I'll have to listen to them both back to back tomorrow and report back for ya. Also, good skiing with ya two weeks back, hopefully we can do it again if the weather changes for the better.
