1. Dude's in BC. They came back to the shop. I said I would take care of it for them. They are rather pissed off. Since they are so busy and pissed at you they asked me ship it for them since it wasn't a shop involved transaction. Being the good nieghbor I said "sure, glad to help here" }-)



2. Yes you will get a tracking number and it will be posted for all to check it's progress.

Old issue. And I apologized for it. And I didn't get pulled back up to the top from the tow-rope-cat after that, nor did I take any cat aided runs from the other cat when they started letting people go from the top to where cheap seats gave me a ride back up to the BBQ.

*I was hiking it when cheapseats came back down to take me back up. I refused at first so he could take another maggot up, and because the sled was way overloaded if he did. He took the other maggot up. I had my skis strapped onto my pack and started to hump it, and I was a good 500' higher when cheapseats came back down to get me (I still told him he didn't have to, he told me it's ok, then asked me if the snow was good down to there. I said it was great and elaborated more on his other questions. He then said cool we can let people ski down more terrain then. More great snow for you guy's*

In fact Cheapseats told me that they weren't going to let us ski down from the BBQ camp area at all, and that the only planned skiing for us was from the 600' vert that the hits were on.

I punished myself for going off alone, by not getting anymore cat tows up untill it was time to go down. I only did 3 runs that entire day. First run after unloading off of the cat on the way up. Second one when being pulled by the rope-cat, and then went on my little stupid adventure. And the third run when it was the end of the day and time to go down. We all paid $35 bucks. I know for a fact you got more than 5 runs in the pow. You ate very well. You have no reasone to bitch, and you never got screwed.


Now as far as this thread being posted up to make someone look like a jerk. Sure Guilty. But read your own post and then look in the mirror. You did the same damn thing. :p

[*note* You posted nothing about the womens coat, thermos, and gloves I found when sking down to the cattrack next to the burnt mtn, and how I spent the next hour probing that area to see if a body was around. I have very good wilderness survival training, I pay close attention to unfamiliar terran (didn't you notice my head was outside of the cat the whole trip up), and I use a non-electric compass, that has saved my life several times, helping me complete a mission, and then get my men to a safe assembly area.


For that act you mention I punished myself enough by staying away from the cats after that and not taking anymore rides and giving my seat to other maggots. I had a long conversation with the lead guide after that. He chewed me out at first, after I answer his questions, and gave him my background he was fine with me. And he was right to chew my ass. That is why I punished myself by taking no more rides up by either cat.

I made the stupid mistake of trying to ski back down alone in unfamiliar terrain, instead pairing up someone, or hitting the jumps. It was stupid for me to ski alone like that. I used my training to find the cattrack. And if I wouldn't have gone down alone, all we would have skied all day long was the 600' vert at the top. this is no excuse. I was completely wrong for skiing down alone, and away from the group. It still bugs me that we benefitted from my stupid act.

*note* my back can't take high jump impacts after I broke it. Incase you didn't know. Just ask splat if I took anymore cat rides that day. We talked alot about what I just did. He was there when the guides were getting another group and asked me to jump in, and I said no, and why. They were fine with that. And they understood that I was doing the right thing by punishing myself by letting a fellow maggot take my seat.

And you got screwed out of no time on that day. You got to go cat skiing and eat well for $35CAD. So kiss my ass.:p
