I spent all last year staying in cheap South Lake motels every time I came up to ski. I wonder if there isn't some maggot out there that would rather have the cash.
Basically looking for guest privilages in someone's ski lease, or anything else that might work.
Me and my girlfriend are both graduate students at Santa Cruz. We both ski backcountry most days. Respectful of other people and their property. We probably come up two weekends a month and maybe a couple of other weekdays if there is a nice storm brewing.
Looking for a warm place to sleep, shower, and kitchen use would be ideal. A place to sleep could mean a bed if available, but a couch or a clean floor would be fine if the house is full. Would just like to know I can come up for a day or two without having to first try and find an affordable place to sleep.
