howdy-

i'd like to show this year's film as a fundraising event at the high school where i work... can this thread be all about pros/cons, tips/advice, etc for organizing a showing? it'd be a great help to hear from those who have already arranged this sort of thing.

thanks in advance,
acostiga

Pro's: If you are a good promoter and get out and promote your event with ads in newspapers, radio, posters hung up at schools, shops etc. then you make pretty good money.

Con's: It cost's 450.00 up front to get the rights so you can't go into it half assed.

is there a prospectus or whatever that i could get? i'll need to gain approval of the administration before i pay for anything, so some hard-copy stuff would help. the money isn't an issue, there's a sizeable audience here in our corner of northwestern montana and i have legions of students to help with promotional stuff.

it should be a go, i just need to get approval of the school admins.

pm me your data and I will pass it on to the tour department. They are currently in the south of France but I can get them to take the private jet to your location on thier way back here for the premiere.

maybe the global network has a glitch or something, since i haven't yet heard from anyone? could it be that a multi-national conspiracy is attempting to prevent me from bringing the stoke to northwestern montana???

we've got a ski swap in town this weekend, and i'd love to do some promotion for a showing that i'd love to host in november. is there any way to have some posters/etc sent out my way, or to begin working with tgr to get the ball rolling?

tgr, your minions are ready to serve you.
