This: http://www.cpc.noaa.gov/products/forecasts/

leads to this: http://www.cpc.noaa.gov/products/predictions/30day/

which looks average except for NM/SWCO in FMA (February March April) which is lookin' goooooooood.

Read weak el Nino warnings elsewhere, can't remember where, which gnerally sucks for the PNW.

On the other hand, if Tahoe ain't getting it, we are.

A good place to turn to from time to time is this forum:

Eastern US Wx (http://www.easternuswx.com/bb/index.php?showforum=15) Lots of wonkishness and loserdom, but when the meteorologists on that board weigh in with their seasonal forecasts in October, it makes for interesting reading for anyone that likes the snow. Also good to occasionally check in when major events are brewing in the winter, especially on the EC.
