Harsch or Bruchharsch is the kind of breakable crust that typically really sucks. Sulz is like mashed potatoes, so yes, slush i guess. Eis is ice.

and if you're real picky you even distinguish between wind- and schmelz/bruchharsch. windcrust and refrozen crust after the top snow layer melted.
and yes sulz=slush
