what is some good padding for creek runs or rocky rivers where you get bashed on your shoulders etc?

Are you talking elbow pads?

This is something that could be improved upon in drytops. Wavesport makes one that includes some cushion in the shoulder area. I've heard of a few pro-boaters that will occasionally wear some type of moto-padding for some burly slides. Otherwise, you just have to take the hits.

I took a good pummeling a few days ago and wish I had something there.

I'd recommend sixsixone 2x4's for elbow pads. They have a hard plastic shell and stay on when you need them to. You can find them online at moto sites. I've also heard Fox makes a good one.

I like the fox ones with the rigid forearm protection, too. A full face helmet might be something to consider, too (I wear one creeking).

Agreed here too. You can fab one or look at the FNA. It's super bomber.

Yup,

I bought one of FNAs full face helmets for creeking a few years ago and liked it so much I just use it all the time now.

I don't use mine on play runs because it is too hard to work the pipe and lighter. :fm:

The Lektor Protector might remedy this...review coming soon.

It was a free warranty shell and I have to pad it out but after fondling it, I have a feeling the FNA will win hands downs.

Plus, I don't need a helmet to look dumb:fm:
