auto notification by email

I have been here for over 2 years.
Call me a jong if you feel the desire, but now when I reply to a post, or create a thread,
I get an email everytime someone replies to it.

When did that happen? And how to make it not automatic?
I am sure I did not specifially ask TGR to do this.

Enlighen me please.

In short,they have created their own frankkenstein and can´t turn it off.

I resolved the problem by creating a new yahoo accoun and directing all tgr email there.
Isnt that convinient?
I know,irresponsible,lazy and shit, but that constant barrage started to block my work mail.

Go to User CP and choose Edit Options
Under Messaging & Notification you can change the Default Thread Subscription Mode to turn it off or change the frequency of emails.

I have the same problem :( Meat's solution seems the best...but then you don't get notices of PMs - not that it matters as I am on this damn site everyday anyway...:rolleyes2
