Payette

Anybody that wants to boat some big flows get to the Payette this week. Its raging on the South Fork and Main. I think most of the Main will be washed out but still big water fun.

I'm debating the Lochsa or the Canyon stretch of the SF of the Payette. Big Falls will be over the portage rock and I want to see that...might be able to get both in though.

I read on mountainbuzz that some boaters car rolled off the pullout and into lochsa falls. Keep a lookout for it if it's still there or try throwing some ends in the hole it created. :D

A car in the riverbed at Lochsa falls would hardly make a ripple at this point.
