I searched but found nothing. Anyone know WTF these things (http://www.palesport.at/english/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=41&Itemid=27) are? Seems like you can pick them up on ebay cheap, and the dimensions on the 191 sound about right.

A. Pale is Austrian (or was it German) ski-brand... has been around for a few years. Never seen anybody ride 'em though.

So by a pair of the 191's and then report back :fm:

uvp on them is € 199.- afaik.
maybe the 191cm is a little more expensive...
they couldnt be that bad... prices will increase next season, but there are some next-year models of them on ebay germany for about € 200...

You didn't like "especially shaped for woman with softer flex".

I'd go for it, but I prefer women with a firm flex.

I want to know what trendy sidewall construction is, beyond the sandwich and cap they talk about. Weight would be good information, too.

From their Technic Spezial Ski's:
Link (http://www.palesport.at/english/images/stories/logos/technics.jpg)

"sidewall technology for fluid response and stability"
"Full around ABS sidewall technology"
"Full around aircell sidewall technology"
"printed sidewalls""
Trendy sidewall construction is highly overated.
Wall to wall wood brototypes is where it is at.
Thanks again Splat!

pale's producing skis for several ski companies … they dont have any marketing or something else like that so they dont piss off their bit customers. they build for blizzard, armada, dynafit and mountain wave. armadas are produced at elan as well though … at last it was like that last season.
the skis they sell themselves as "pale" skis are crap.
