Why am I not getting notifications?

I checked my email address and options in User CP. Addy is correct and all the boxes for notification on subscribed threads and PMs is there. Yet I'm not getting notification of new PMs, nor of new additions to subscribed threads.

What gives? Is it the system, or me?

fyi, I just found out that yahoo has started sorting all TGR notification type email as Spam.
