not sure if this has come up recently here, but I did a search and nothing relevant came back.
Have some new pistols coming soon for riding at Snowbird and Alta and I'm wondering what the consensus is on the mounting position. I'm thinking a little forward (1 or 2cm) but don't know if they'll still ski that well for pow and big mountain. let me know how you guys are skiing them. thanks.

1cm back. Not jibbing on them, just pow & hucking.
I'd only go forward if I was 60/40 pow/park.

What size? If you were riding the 179, the forward mount would make them better in the park, but detract from all-mtn. riding. I have 179's and 189's and both are mounted at the neutral point for all-mtn. riding, although I don't like the 189's in the park...just too big for anything other than straight airs, IMO.

thanks for your replys guys.
I'm getting the 189's.
gonna mount em 1 back. wasn't really planning on using them as a park ski. I was thinking about having them forward for spinning off drops and trying switch pow stuff.
