Don't know if it has been posted here yet but the NPS has uploaded their May 2005 footage of the Big Drops in cataract canyon.

My buddy Andy is driving in clip 4, he said the park service spent those few days of peak water fishing people out below big drop 3. One guide lost his thumb after getting it caught betwwen the frame and rubber. How anyone hasn't died swimming satan's gut I wil never know.

It was fascinating to watch the video...just incredible...I've run the toddler-esque Snake here in WY many times- nothing like the vids.
