Broke my freaking PR's today with all of about ten days on them, last season I bent them in the tail today was a complete blowout in the front of the binding. (post pics later), question is, sell the warranty pair and get something else or keep breaking them and sending them back???

Pretyy pissed right now, it was a pretty routine thing whne they broke, they simply folded up, hit a cliff at speed went about twenty, landed to a horrific snap, (thinking my femur just exploded) and the tip is waving in my face, freak out and waving in my face.

WWMD???

warranty them and ask for a salomon credit rather than a replacement ski. then buy the AK Rocket Lab for another 200 bucks or so. this is how I got my lab skis.

Thought about that, but I need something that will let me use it a bit more often. Still prety pissed right now, last run of the day, and WHAMO! (begin heavy french accent) Waaa-laa we have guts shooting out of the sides of your skis, how super cool! (end heavy frenchie)

Get a pair of Big Stix 106, and you won't have to worry about some noodle slapping your face. Jerky boyz:rolleyes:

Do you think, now, that you might be too big for these skis? You got a lot of weight comn down on these things off a twenty foot cliff. Are they really worth it?

So, how does breaking a pair of Pocket Rockets compare to breaking the Seth Pistols?

Sorry, man. Good luck.

Salomon was cool, gave me an RA, with no problem even after I told them it was a warranty pair from last year, and that there was only about ten days on them.

Haven't broke a pair of Seth's, Dex, well yet.....;)

As for 106's, no thanks, even softer than the noodles. It would be the ski if they would build it in a vertical sidewall.

Salomon sent me back new noodles yesterday, no questions, no complaints. I guess it's just keep skiing them till they blow up and send them back.
Dig their warranty dept!:D
