Just FYI 'cause I haven't heard 'em mentioned here yet.....

A company called Revolution Manufacturing out of Utah is going to be producing a line of twin-tip skis in mid-January '04.

Tech:
124-95-114 20m radius @ 187cm.
187, 174, 164, 154

Thier website is at www.rideharder.com.

Only their snowboards are there now, but check out the build-your-own-snowboard section...it's pretty damn cool. Imagine that, but with skis.

Saw their in ad in Freeskier and it also shows some sort of weird binding system. Looks like a snowboard step-in binding but mounted on a ski (it's only a drawing though, not an actual picture). Says there's 14 release points compared to the traditional 3.......

If anyone has any more info on their skis, please post.

Saw this also, but didn't find their website, cool link.

I really didn't understand teh boot and binding concept, I was thinking it was aimed as an approach ski for boarders, but nice dimensions on them. Looks like they have a base and then multiple stacks that can be attached, a step in, soft-strap, and a hardplate. From what I read, it's also some sort of release plate, not din, but spring loaded.

Pretty cool to go through the borad customization, wonder what prices on the skis would be.

Ty, did you see the Dalbello Krypton (http://tetongravity.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=4246) write up? Any thoughts?

Why not build two snowboards to be used as big mountain snollerblades
