No pics of the 4 door yet but the 2 door is looking good. The modular hard top is not the Suzuki Samari abomination I feared it would be. Front and rear solid axles intact and 32" tires on the Rubicon.
I have always wanted one but can't justify the purchase when gas mileage is factored into the equation.

Does it come with 30% more rollover, too?

The 5" of extra width they've added sure isn't going to hurt it's rollover rating.

Nice, but the important question is: are gas and brake pedals alpine boot compatible?

They couldnt decide if they want to use round or rectangular forms. The back looks little bit humvee. The grille .. arghh. The new windshield looks nice. But the interior is sooo ugly.
Tech should be nice. Also the idea of the removeable fenders.
I stay with my cj5 :)

I thought it looked wider. It's a good move or a bad move depending on how you look at it. Some Jeepers get extra wide axles for more stability while offroading; this crowd will dig it. But some people like tight spaces and might miss the old narrow profile. I'm just speculating with all of this.
I do like the new body. The top looks super clean. Although, there's a huge blind spot now in the back corners. The recessed tail lights are a nice touch too. It's an old mod that I've always liked.
That said...no I6... :nonono2:
