So, I tore about a foot of edge and a good chunk of base and sidewall out of a T@nker this weekend (which might warrant another thread about the rather disappointing durability of those skis), and the shop guy's advice was "don't bother."
As it stands now, the rather pitiful quiver consists of CMH Explosives (rock skis, probably should have been on those), Candides (dicking around the local hill), and some Volant Gravity Powers (don't ask).
Funds are relatively low, and I certainly wasn't expecting to splash some cash on new boards this year. I certainly want something big (but I'll admit I'm a little scared of BIG, the T@nkers were my everyday ski and I'd like something to fill that gap).
I can get a new pair of Beast 92's for $400. Buy them? Something else?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
(Jesus, I feel like frickin' Maxwell Gosey)
