Long time listener, first time caller.

Skiing & climbing in Zermatt & Chamonix with my girlfriend til Jan 1st then she has to fly home to go to work (boooh!). I'm staying over there til Jan 11th, and need to find more folks to ski & climb with.

WHO'S IN??? COME ON!!! 20cm fresh in Zermatt Saturday... climbable ice is already in... WHO'S IN???

I'm still a gaper on this forum but have used plenty others in the past; leave a post or PM me and I'll give a shout.

After Jan 11th, will be back in Seattle and am gainfully unemployed, so when i'm not able to convince Dr Crash to skip work i'll be looking for people to head out with... feel free to drop a line.

Well, I guess given the conditions i understand: skied Brevent-Flegere with my girlfriend yesterday: thin fresh snow coverage (2-3inches) above frozen solid, crud-topped base... booh.

However, the crystal-clear skies this morning succumbed to a sizable lenticular atop Mont Blanc this morn, and completely covered sky now (14:30-ish)... so hopefully it warms up a bit and starts dumping... was -19C yesterday afternoon, which is damn cold.

Again, if anyone's interested in skiing here, including doing some touring if conditions improve (fingers-crossed) such as the Aiguille d'Argentiere or other mellow/moderate tours (hey, it's Dec/Jan) please reply here or send a PM.

Also, if you're interested in climbing some water-ice or doing a moderate alpine-ice climb (hey, it's Dec/Jan) please reply / PM.

Cheers & regards & wOOf-

You might get more responses if you post this in the main ski/snowboard forum.
