Has anyone tried the heated gloves from Cozy Winter advertised in this year's Photo Annual.

How do they compare to the chemical packs because I was thinking they would make really good X-mas gifts for my family.

I have a friend who got them. They only last all day at the lowest setting.
He really liked them, but they weren't that warm to me when I tried them.
Price to performance ... I would pass on them.

If you need warm gloves, get the Cabelas gauntlets. I couldn't wear them because they were too warm, but I have warm hands and need to buy thinner gloves. Still, everyone else raves about them. Best of all, they're super cheap.

Maybe I should just get them for my senior citizen parents who don't ski all day then. I'm just running out of Christmas ideas.

Spoken like someone that might have done that a time or two.

Not bad for shoveling out the Hot Tub at night. Just not good for using to hold your beer in the Hot Tub.

If you're worried about cold hands, get a nice pair of ski mittens. Burton AK Oven mittens are super warm, TNF and Swany both make good ones too. Mittens are far and away warmer than even the warmest glove I've ever tried.
