I know that last year was a bust, but is there talk of one for the 05/06 season yet?

Edit: altachic here...
last year wasn't a bust by any means in my opinion, we ALL had a good time and many folks made it out.
That being said...I'm still planning on being a big part of getting this together. I might have to take buzz's spot as he has the little one now.
We are in...who else and what dates do we want to start talking about?

I have vacation days I need to use before the end of the year. Early December or sometime past Jan 1st would be good.

Not that I should have any say in this, but this could factor into wether I go to Tahoe or Utah and Dec. I can go Dec 3-10 or Dec 10-17.

Any time that isn't between Xmas and New Years.
That works better in terms of minimizing dealing with the touron crowds as well. I am gonna be out of town for miss stump's grad school gradumucatin around Dec. 10, but other than that am around and could maybe host a mag or two if floor space is required.

Whenever we schedule the summit there's sure to be the Wasatch Fault Big One and no doubt Dubya and the god damned mormons will fucktard it all up.

AKPM, January is hit or miss a lot. February will give us more snow to work with usually.
Last year we had no snow. We need some good snow this time around. Otherwise people are wasting their money to come out here.

Sounds like they will be going on the whole season, so I will see what is up.
I need to still talk to Gordy, but we have time.
I will post a poll soon on possible dates once I speak with Str8.

I am in this year. Can't swing W/B. I am working on having a large group there. Anybody know the best condos to look at? I have stayed at the Iron Blossam, and I am looking at the Cliff Lodge. Those two depend on how many people I get. What are the other options at Snowbird? Alta is not really an option unless no snowboarders are coming. Even then, I think I'd rather stay at the Bird. Down canyon is not an option, cause I smell INTERLODGE coming, and that would just piss me off. No amount of money saved is worth sitting at the mouth of the canyon while others are poaching my lines.

I have only stayed at the Cliff at the Bird.
Even if you have boarders, they can shuttle it down to the Bird if you stay at Alta too.
Altachic may have more answers, that is her canyon. I am just a visitor. :D

Depending on price, I want to avoid the shuttle every morning option for the boarders. Plus, Snowbird has all sorts of amenities. The Cliff is my first choice, but we are going to have to see about numbers.

Oh-btw, do the airlines out there give vouchers for free skiing the day you get in? I will be flying Delta from Tampa, so an 8 am flight puts me in at about 10:30 am. I would love to catch a couple warm up runs on wed.

I think Deer Valley does. I know Glademaster got a half day there last MINI. He said that the sides of the groomers were not bad.
Quick start program is what it is called thru sales and marketing dept. I just got off the phone with them. They still are up in air on what is happening but they will call my work phone and let me know as soon as they know, and I will then post it up for you.
I can understand the shuttle deal. Make em walk! ;)
Or you could be real nice and drive them down, but I never got that kind of treatment, must be a boarder thing.

Wow Buzz- you are the most organized non-organizer ever. Thanks for the info.
I guess it will all depend on whether I get a car or not. But, that deal is pretty schweeet. JH does the same thing methinks, but it is a little harder for me to get into town that early. Salt Lake is just so eeeeeeaaaaassssssyyyyyy.
I can't wait. Must make the party this year. Who is bringing the terminal lung cheese this year? Rusty? Joshbu? Can't show up empty handed.

I did the last two, maybe 3 Mini summits. I was Gimped the first one.
Since I will be 2 hours north of the main action, except Snowbasin day, I am working with Altachic, who has helped me the last 3 years and SkiGuide plans to help too.
I am out on business for the week now, so any questions can go to AC or wait.

The Lodge at Snowbird and the Inn are the only options besides the Cliff and Iron Blosam Lodges. They're all property-managed by the Resort, so you can one-stop-shop by calling Snowbird Reservations at 1-800-232-9542 or do it online here: https://shop.snowbird.com/snowbirdV2/store.jsp#ceShop
