Just made a quick trip down to Ensenada to pick up a friends boat and bring it back to San Diego, arrived Saturday nt to surf San Miguel with 2 other people out!! Waves were begining to pick up so we decided a dawn patrol was in order the next am.
We woke up did a quick check of San Mig which looked fair so we decided to drive up to K58, man we we happy to find a parking lot of hung over surfers head high waves and no one out!! Surfed for two hours then people started to paddle out in the line up @ which point our arms were getting pretty worked.
As we were surfing I began to convince my friend that the surf was so good and just imagine how good it will be tonight do we really need to get the boat back to SD?? He quickly agreed! Just after Surfing we went to Brunch @ a restaurant over looking the beach that was cheap and good!! Steak & huevos rancheros for $5!!
Needless to say we came back out for Glass off & once again there were only 2 other people out!! Surf was got by all, Repeat again Monday AM!!
Very stoked to have gotten so much surf on such a short trip!I will post some pics later!
