Fate Clothing questions

Hey,
Fate is have a end of the season closeout sale (fateclothing.com), and does anyone have any reccomendations on Jackets to get. Do they run small average or larger than normal size. I had a pair of Fate pants four or five years ago, I was wondering if they still had the same sizing that they used to have.

I'm looking at the Combat, Biddy and the Poached jackets. If anyone has any of these jackets I would love some feedback if possible. I want a jacket for average utah storm days to somewhat warm conditions (like febuary or march days that can have bluebird one day and dumping the next). I've got a cold weather and warm spring weather jackets alrerady so something in between would be ideal, plus they are half off so I can't beat that

I have a 4 or 5 year old Fate insulated jacket. Bomber, still looks great, but it isnt that waterproof or breathable. Of course, their fabrics and such have improved greatly since then. I'd say go for it, especially if its cheap. Mine has prolly close to 600 days of wear on it(no, not all skiing) and isnt torn, faded, worn, anything. Solid coats.

Not sure about different models, but we used to carry 'em in our store - they run frickin huge! I'm 6' 165lbs and I'd wear either a small or medium - go figure. :rolleyes:

pants run true to their sizing chart.
jackets run large, unless you have a long torso.

I third that- their jackets run huge. I am 5'11", 195 lbs and wear a small (I believe). Great jacket though- its a bomber shell and actually very warm for the thinness of it. I have the Poached jacket, btw.

I don't know what you guys are talking about these jackets being TOO BIG. I talked to a Fate Clothing guy on the phone to get the 411 on the size issue, the guy was roughly my same size, told me to go with a large, if I wanted to exchange the size I could.

I got the MCD jacket in a large, the jacket is perfect for skiing AltaBird. It is so pimp :biggrin: :D :biggrin: :D :biggrin: !!!!!!!!!!! Fate still has bunch of jackets on closeout 50% off prices so jackets will run $125 at the most before shipping. Sad to say, the pant sizes for men are just in XL, small, & med, not Large :mad: , oh well I have to wait 'til the fall for some pants. For any of you familiar with the old fate Jimmer Moran pants, they are bring them back this fall. I'll get either those or thier cargo pants.
