First, some background. I have chronic knee pain. PT seems to help, but doesn't seem to completely solve the problem. My doc suggested I get an MRI to really know what's going on. Get the MRI, and the doc says the results are inconclusive...so apparently the noise of the MRI was the sound of my money being flushed down the toilet. Possible menisicus tear, but definite meniscus damage. So, now my options are

Orthoscopic sugery to determine what exactly is going on (yeah, I heard that before) and clean up any menisicus damage.

Continue with PT.

Joint Fluid Therapy. Doc starts to ramble off a bunch of study findings. Short story, it's an expensive treatment and only lasts 6-12 months. Doesn't sound like it's worth it to me. Wondering if anyone else has had his done and their experiences with the treatment.
