I have an opportunity to go to the Nias and Simeulue in July. Yup right smack dab at the epicenter of the last quake ! Do any of you Mags have any local contacts that can give an insight to how it is over there ? Don't wanna go if I'm in the way of any rebuilding (of home and lives). Plus I hear that the reefs have been raised up by the first quake and might not be as good for surfing. Anybody got some straight info ? Thanx -H

I heard some areas have been hit pretty hard while others have had little or no damage check surfline.com or surfermag.com message boards.
That is supposed to be an epic trip!!
