I get sliced, and my stay in purgatory ends.

Good luck man, and that's my b-day so things should go very well for you.

You'll be in good company with Huckwheat two days later! My "stay" is over 3/17 . . .
Which graft are you going with?

good luck mang. that time before surgery is the worst. the feelings of just wanting to get started on the road back, but having to wait for the doctors to put you in position to get on the road is frustrating.

Dunno yet, but I'm not into the cadaver allograft thing. I'm leaning patellar but the doc and I have yet to come to a final plan.

Same here!
Just back from a trip to Gressoney/Alagna, about 6 months post-op. Skiing black runs, one big off-piste run with powder, crud, rocks, (minor) billy-goating etc etc. Stamina was still an issue and I wasn't really enjoying bumps (best avoided at the best of times IMO) and crud-busting that much but I'm getting close to skiing properly now. Hope that's some motivation for you.
May post some pics if they turn out any good...
