this is what my wife just emailed me completely unprompted

"Hey, I know you’re worried about your opportunities to board during the week this year, but Wolf Creek Pass is getting 10 inches today. So, If you need to go, it can be today if necessary. I don’t mind if you take off tonight and come back tomorrow ?

no worries brother. No need to go that far. Predictions are for 8-12" in summit county. Cool email anyhow.

Wow! It takes a married ski addict to comprehend the magnitude of your wife's gesture. I am hoping that mid-week raids on Alta will also be tolerated this season.

My wife & I have an opportunity to go to a lodge in the norther Valhallas for a week this January. Unfortunately we can not find child care for aour 3 kids for the week. So she told me I should go without her. :D :D

Karl mid week raids almost anywhere within reason are a GO ! btw just picked up my Aspen 4 pack saturday, that will make a nice random tuesday getaway !
