Okay peoples, can anybody bring a TV/DVD so we can watch Soul Purpose while DRINKING on Saturday afternoon after skiing? What time should I tell the folks at Stowe to figure on us showing up too? I was thinking around 3pm or so. Obviously there will be folks getting there well after 4 but they have a party going on during the afternoon where they are broadcasting some competition and were asking me for a general idea.

Remember drop me a note so I can get the vouchers out to you, time is getting short and just how far do you want to trust the USPS to get them to you in time.

Thanks again for the hookups, gravity. I believe I have three vouchers on the way. Plan is to drive up for Saturday morning, ski till 3 or 4, hang with maggots, spend the night somewhere and possibly do some mellow touring on Sunday.

Why don't we meet at Jose's Cantina in Midway Base lodge (under the gondola) on Sat. around 3ish? It may be a little packed but hopefully it will be sunny and we can chill on the deck. I'll bring the TGR "Soul Purpose" DVDs with me. It will be a good time to rest and perhaps drink a beer...or two...or three...or four...or................

Egads! I really have to get my act together if we are going to be at this thing. Problem is, my son has a race on Sat. I'd like to come up Sat night for some apres ski hanging out...but we need a cheap place to stay. My husband got that grumpy look when I mentioned doing this (in defense of him, I have been bleeding us dry this season between trips, skiing, and gear :redface: )

So anyway, are there any cheap places to stay? We are not picky. But would want to be relatively close. If so, please post up so I can call around a bit. Worst case scenario I will just bag apres ski on Sat night and we will just drive up on Sunday.

Once I get that all straightened out I will request tix from you gravitylover. Do you know if kidlets ski free there under a certain age or what? I wonder if I can get any kind of discount b/c he's a member of those ski race associations. I guess I will call stowe tomorrow to check.

Sorry, I haven't responded in awhile. I've been out riding:)
Anyway, if anyone needs to arrange for vouchers you can e-mail me at jbock@stowe.com. Also, I'm looking into some lodging options. Most places are booked but I have a few. The Stowe Motel has a few rooms available for Saturday only at $104 (dbl beds). Their # is 802-253-7629. I also just called the Sun & Ski and negociated a rate of $92 per night (Double beds). They have limited availability for 4th, 5th and 6th but call now because they are going fast. Call 802-253-7159 and ask for Melanie. Make sure you tell her that you are with the TGR forum so she gives the discount. It also includes a breakfast buffet. Sounds like some of you may need the grease to soak up the alcohol!

Just pulled the trigger on two nights (Mar 4th and 5th; friday and saturday) at the Sun and Ski. Thanks for the deal 'Stowevibe'!

Got room for one, plus some floorspace. $92 plus half of whatever tax is if you want a bed. Pitch in for beer or dinner and the floor is yours.

I'm gonna post this on the other 'mini' thread too, just in case someone reads one but not the other.

I did it in reverse, at midnight I turned full on human. (that's also when people started lifting it up to see if I was really naked under there........lets just say they weren't dissapointed :D )
