Official JH Summit: Targhee group rate & Days

Well, Targhee had thier own dates in mind and they did not necesarily match our schedule - but here is what they offered up.

$55.00 buys you a ride on alltrans from JH over to targhee, a day pass - & a ride back at the end of the day.

This offer is only good on Monday Feb 7th & Friday Feb 11th.

The normal price for a day ticket is $52.00

I'm a total jong. How busy is Jackson Hole on the weekend? If it's quite busy I'd prefer to spend the extra $10 and ski Targhee on sunday and saturday, otherwise Monday and Friday work.

Some problems with a weekend day a Targhee...
First Saturday: not everyone there yet or arriving that day
First Sunday: Superbowl - don't want to travel during the game
Second Saturday: Again, travel might interfere with evening events
Second Sunday: some people already on the road home

Otherwise, if the crowds were a factor, I'd prefer a weekend day at Targhee as well.

Snow is much better over there, but make sure you can see the place. My suggestion is Wednesday after this front passes.

JH isn't that crowded on the weekends. There is no major metropolis for quite a few miles away so no worries on the weekend crowds.

Just stick with the Targhee on Mon and Fri and if people want to go more, go for it!

Targhee rocked today. Lots of good snow to be found- 6 inches+.

Maggots were tearing the place up.

I just wish I had hiked with the rest. Oh Well.
