what has your guys experience been for the cheapest apartment in california? i need it for like 2-3months over the summer, before i go to college. i knwo the area is pricey, but what has your experience been? im gonna be working and surfing--hey that rhymes--so being close to the beach is a must! thanks, let me know

California is expensive, also working and surfing don't really rhyme. that's like saying eating and pooing rhyme because they both end with "ing".

2-3 months, eh? Move to mexico surf the waves and work for 1 dollar a day, eat .10 fish tacos and drink .15 beer and your are all set! Screw California. Plus you get to learn a 3rd language (English, Spanglish, and Spanish).
