I am an expert east coast skiier. I like to rip the bumps and the park. If there is snow, I can be found in the trees or poaching stuff.

My weekends are spent n VT in the trees at either Smuggs or Jay and during the week I ski at home in PA at Camelback in the bumps or the park.

I think the stratch would be a great PA ski, but not so good in Vt, and both the Fujas and the Scimitar would be good in VT. Basically, the scratch and scimitar are the same ski- technology and turning radius.

Over the past ten years I have had tons of skis: salomon 1080's, rossi scratch (several pairs), rossi bandits b2's, k2 appache's, and salomon sentiels. The only skiis I that I kept and liked to ski on, were the scratch's, and then the 1080's

Has any body skiied any of the these skis and what are your recomendations???????????????????

Ummm...no, they are not the same at all. The Scratch uses what Rossi calls Power turn which they describe as high camber, so basically generous camber throughout the whole ski which gives it the pop of a park ski.

The Scimitar is over a cm wider in the waist and uses Spin Turn rocker which is full rocker thoughout the whole ski like the S6/Sickle.

So when your comparing rocker profiles they are polar opposites. If your sold on Rossi check out the S3 too, similar dimensions to the Scimitar with Rocker/Camber combo. It will be softer and playful like the Fujas, with a little added girth to make a versatile fun ski that will hanlde east coast "pow."

Check out the review on the S3 here http://blistergearreview.com/gear-reviews/2011-2012-rossignol-s3-186cm. And try searching the site next time.
